Well they just finished building a new Taco Bell here and there is a patio out front and it has three outdoor ceiling fans of some type. Couldn't get a good look at them but they seem to have a big bladespan with wooden blades and a big black rounded motor. I know terrible description, but it's not open yet to get a closer look. Most like bronze Home Decorators Collection Alturas in 56" or 68". Or 72".

The Arby's just remodeled and there are now no ceiling fans installed. It always had them in the past. Originally it had white 42" huggers with 4 stencil blades, and before the remodel it had HB Farmingtons in bronze, it may have had something else in between, don't recall.

Our local Arby's never had fans, it was built sometime in the 90s, and they just never installed any.

Subways in my area are inconsistent. One has Kichler Sterling Manors, another has Quorum Capris, the dirtiest one in my area has harbor breeze classic style (older version) fans always on updraft.
I've never seen a Ruby Tuesday in SoCal...
Our local Arby's has six Hunter Silent Breeze fans in white (I never eat at Arby's nowadays); from what I can remember, they were all on downdraft and either on medium or high. They have PATHETIC performance and move little air on full power.
None of the Taco Bell's in my area have fans at all.
Every IHOP around me has those black Emerson builder fans that are never on.
The one Outback in my area has AB Hampton Bay Landmark ceiling fans, all reasonably well maintained. They are still there.

Our Outback had GEV 52" white HB Landmarks outside that got replaced by HB Grayton II's, and then inside they had brown Emerson Legend II's, some replaced by gray-ish Hunter Custom Home II's (the newest version)... all got removed in a remodel. Ruby Tuesday had PB Emerson/Alaska Designers with 4-arm light kits with tulip shades, and a gloss black one with an AB light kit of the same type in the glass bar... they removed the PB ones in the remodel, keeping the gloss black one in the glass bar, then Ruby's became a Marlins and Rays Seafood restaurant (was owned by Ruby Tuesdays, the location near me was unlucky location #13 and they then closed all their Marlins and Rays Seafood restaurants) and they had bronze Hampton Bay Metros/Minka Aire Rainmans (bar fan was removed) and Minka Aire Gyros in bronze around the restaurant, then they closed and it ironically became an IHOP, all fans were removed, and the glass bar became the waitstaff drink-getting area (unsure of what to call it). Taco Bells around here never had fans to my knowledge. Subways around here either have 52" Sterling Manors/Builders from Kichler in nickel, or pewter Regency MX Excels. I thought the Kichlers were Capris at first, but was later told otherwise. One Subway near me built in '99 has 2 BB Hunter Passport II's or Piedmonts. There used to be one at my mall, and they had 2 BB 44" Hunter Coastal Breezes, but they closed in 2007 when my mall moved to an "Open-Style" food court outdoors... Bonefish Grille has black Monte Carlo Weatherfords inside and out (52" size), and Red Robin has 4 (used to be 5 before a recent remodel) copper Modern/Period Arts Fan Co. Industries. Another restaurant called Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille has nickel HB 60" Industrials and bronze HB Farmingtons on the patio.

So this isn't really "local", but the other day I ate at an Uno Chicago Grill that was built fairly recently in PA, probably one of their "New Concept" restaurants. They no longer use black Originals in their restaurants (apparently), but instead use matte black or bronze 52" builder fans: 2 over the side dining area, one at the front entrance, and one in the main dining area, plus 2 in the bar, all on standard down rods. They all appear to be Kichler 52" Sterling Manor builderfans Meanwhile, the Uno Chicago Grill closest to me replaced their black Originals with bronze Emerson Atomicals without the light kits installed onto them. And I also ate at a local Italian place that had a big, open dining area with rafters with several 68" bronze Home Decorators Collection Alturas, and a single sandstone-colored 52" Craftmade Decorative in the bar area.

Here are these fans at the Taco Bell. Can anyone identify them? Sorry the quality was pretty blurry. I might get a better video later.

They use that HUGE 212×35mm skeletal motor (basically an upsized XTR motor) that the Casablanca Duluth uses; can be used with 3 or 6 blades. I really like the look of those.

A BBQ restaurant here that I hadn't been to for a while remodeled and installed ceiling fans. I don't know the brand but they're a galvanized metal color, and have a cylindrical blender fan like motor housing and four blades. Also, at the front counter there was a Chillout Turbo fan. I remember in the past seeing the older Duracraft Turbo Fans and also two Stackable Turbo fans but they weren't stacked. They must really like those Turbo Fans with how many they've had. lol
Unfortunately the vintage wagon wheel light fixtures got removed in the remodel.

They must really like those Turbo Fans with how many they've had. lol Unfortunately the vintage wagon wheel light fixtures got removed in the remodel. The first fans you described are Modern Fan Co. Industry ceiling fans. The older versions of those had very elongated motor housings, GE-made K55-type motors, and pull chains. The current version has a shorter, more proportionate motor housing and a DC motor. Interesting that there would be so many turbo fans in a restaurant application; I wonder how they placed them (other than the chillout turbo) to not look tacky in that setting. That is still pretty cool though. Speaking of Modern Fan Co. stuff, there have been two Raising Cane's locations I have been to that have these Industry fans; each has four of them. One of the locations has them on 9" downrods and the other has them on extra long downrods for some reason. A third, smaller Raising Cane's I have been to has two Minka Aire Acero fans in brushed nickel; both were installed without their light kits.

I looked up those fans and that does appear to be correct.
From what I can remember there's just one Chillout Turbo fan at the counter. In the past I had seen one of the Duracraft Stackable Turbos on each side of the pass through window and another time a Duracraft or two at the counter. So they weren't all there at once, but different ones at different times. But it does seem they always use those kind of fans.
That sounds interesting. I know during the past 10-15 years it has been less common to see ceiling fans at new or remodeled restaurants, so it's nice to see and hear of them being installed more often. The only newer restaurant I've seen them installed at lately is those Hunter HVLS fans at Taco Bell.

Last weekend, we went to a Cheesecake Factory in Orlando. Out on the patio where we ate it had Harbor Breeze Caleras in a bronze color.
Also not really a restaurant per se but we went to Topgolf and it had some kind of four blade 52" fans at the indoor area in a nickel color. Outside it had commercial oscillating fans.
