Porch Fan never had pretzel brackets. Did the fans you saw have pretzel brackets?

I went to a Red Robin last weekend not too far from me that just opened. This is the first Red Robin I've seen without copper Modern Fan Company/Period Arts Fan Company Industries. This Red Robin had a few brushed nickel Modern Fan Company Flutes with matching blades. They were all on, and looked good in the restaurant.
I also stopped at a Burger King today that had two brushed nickel Modern Fan Company Stratos fans, one over the counter and one in the dining area. They were both on, and again looked great.

Over the past two weeks I've been to two new restaurants: -An IHOP opened in the former location of a Ruby Tuesday, which then converted into a Marlin and Ray's, then that closed in 2012 (the Ruby Tuesday was there from 1994-2012). The Ruby tuesday had PB Emerson Designers or Northwinds from the early 90s with 4 light arm fitters and frosted tulip glass shades on 12" down rods, which were removed in 2004 or so and replace by lights, plus a single Emerson Northwind or Designer in Black from the early 90s with a PB 4 light arm fitter and frosted tulip glass shades in the stained glass and wood bar, which remained until 2012 when Marlin and Ray's moved in and it was removed, and some Minka Aire Rainmans in Bronze on 12" down rods were installed. Recently, when IHOP moved in, no fans were installed -A Greene Turtle opened in the former location of another Ruby Tuesday, which closed in 2012 or so. This Ruby Tuesday had PB Emerson Designers or Northwinds on 12" down rods from the early 90s with 4 light arm fitters and frosted tulip glass shades plus a single Black Emerson Northwind or Designer from the early 90s, which both were removed and replaced by lights in 2004 or so. When Greene Turtle opened, they put in an outdoor screened-in dining area with 3 bronze-colored 52" Minka Aire Sundances and inside, they put in 6 or so bronze Hampton Bay 68" Alturas. -Back in September, I went to another Greene Turtle in the former location of a previously bankrupt restaurant. The previous restaurant had Brushed Nickel Hampton Bay Winward III's in the party room, and no fans in the restaurant or bar. The Greene Turtle got rid of the party room, but installed Black Monte Carlo Studios in the restaurant and bar.

I just went to a new restaurant to eat. As you walk in, there's an all-wood ceiling with 4 brass Fanimation Brewmasters hooked up and running on the lower of the two speeds, but still pretty fast... tried to get a pic of these but they're right at the bar and it was crowded. The motor assembly is mounted to a wall above the doors as you first walk in. If I go there again and it's not crowded, I'll try and snap a pic.
In the part where I ate, it's like a bar/dining room, and there were 4 dark-finished Craftmade Presidential II's (I think, or one of those Victorian copies) that wobbled like crazy. It was really dark in that room, with the only lighting being above each table. The fans were in the middle.
There was yet another dining room that had some Brittany Bronze-finished Hunter Adrionbacks, or whatever they're called, sold at Lowe's.

I went to yet another new restaurant tonight, an island-themed place called Bahama Breeze, which has several locations throughout the United States.
They have a gazebo dining area, which probably originally had 4 white HB Builder's Bests from the mid 2000s on 12" down rods, but two were probably replaced by white HB Farmingtons, again on 12" down rods, and one was probably replaced by a white HB Quick Connect on a 12" down rod. They were all on medium, the blades were not drooping yet. One of the Builders Bests still remains.
In the sort of outdoor dining area, there were several HB Palm Beaches in the bronze finish. They were running on either medium or high and had 12" down rods.
In the bar area, there hung the best of the fans in the place: 3 rust-finished Emerson Maui Bays. Two fans had dark brown palm blades, and one fan had olive green palm blades. They were on longer down rods. They were on medium. Probably the reason one fan had different blades than the two others was probably because when they got the fans to put in, the dealer they got the fans from probably only had 2 sets of dark brown palm blades, and probably they took what they could get for the third fan, which was the set of olive green palm blades. They look cool, though, installed on wooden beams attached to a tinlike roof.
Back in late June, I went to a restaurant in Ocean City, MD that was island-themed. Previously it had been something else that closed and reopened as this restaurant. In the bar and dining areas, there hung several pewter-finished HB Bajas with homemade steel down rods on vaulted ceilings. Only some were running.

UPDATE:
I went back to a seafood restaurant last night that had Polished Brass Hunter 1896 Art Nouveaus installed on the lower floor and in the bar. However, this time I sat upstairs since the restaurant was crowded. It's a pretty cool attic-like area upstairs with wooden beams and a center area that leads out to a deck. In the main area where I sat, there were two 1896 Art Nouveaus in Polished Brass, running at medium speed. In the side room, there were 2 Brass Hunter 1886 Series, one of which had a Brass Hunter light kit with the spiral sphere finial on the bottom of it with 4 lights. They were both running at medium speed. In that center area, though, there hung 2 Verde Hunter 1886 Series, both running at high speed. One had a bent blade or two (probably from a server holding a tray too high and bumping into the fan). One of the canopies on the Verde 1886 Series read 'Serial # 276', and I assume the other one read 'Serial # 275' or 'Serial # 277'. I tried to take a pic of the Verde 1886 Series, but servers were hanging out in that area. In the area leading out to the deck, there hung a Polished Brass Hunter 1896 Art Nouveau running at high speed. So the 1886 Series and 1896 Art Nouveaus that I thought may not remain upstairs, still remain.

I went to this pizza place that's been around for years and years but I've been really wanting to try for awhile. In the front area where the carry-out area and restaurant entrance is, there are 2 matte black Harbor Breeze Classic Styles, the newest ones... they were running on low or medium and hung on 3" down rods... pictures I saw on the wall of the carry-out area and restaurant entrance show that there was at least one older antique brass-finish fan (Hunter?) or fans hanging where the HB's are now. They had a large dining area as well but the dining area, at least now, has no fans, not sure if it once did, but they should add them if it didn't... the restaurant appears to not have been remodeled, so I assume there were no fans in the dining area to begin with.

Went back to the place that had the Canarm industrials and Broan GEV 42" builders... the place is in the process of being remodeled... I went back tonight, and the GEV's were replaced by more properly-sized bronze HB Glendales, and the Canarm industrials were removed, and 6 rough-ins were installed around the bar area where the Canarms were and 6 Harbor Breeze Tilghmans in the bronze finish with light kits were installed... I saw the boxes to the Glendales in the back, and a globe to one of the Broans on a table... maybe I can try and get the Canarms, if they still have them... the fans were probably installed today.

A long overdue update of fairly recent sightings: -Last year a seafood place opened up where an old bar/restaurant used to be. The old bar/restaurant had 4 white Hampton Bay Palm Beaches on the outdoor porch area with matching light kits. They're still there with the new seafood restaurant, but the new place hasn't ever turned them on. They're a bit rusted, too. -The Greene Turtle, which is a sports bar and grill chain opened a location in my local mall. The main dining ares and bar have nickel 60" Hampton Bay Industrials. The controls are wired incorrectly (1 is high speed and 4 is low speed). In the screened porch area there are 4 bronze Hampton Bay Farmingtons that are hardly ever on. -There's an irish restaurant near me, and when you walk in you enter the main bar. There is a system of I think Woollen Mill belt-driven fans that are propelled by a motor on the wall, which is held up by a bracket formed to look like a human fist, which is weird, yet looks nice. The belts are messed up from years of use and no maintenance. In the back dining room and secondary bar, there are 4 pewter Craftmade Presidential II's with hand-carved wooden blades. 2 of those fans have messed up blades possibly from people throwing stuff into them. They're all controlled by wall switches, and are set on medium speed by the pull chains. The private party room and bar, which also functions as a third dining room, has 4 Hunter Adrionbacks. -There used to be a Joe's Crab Shack near me (I may have posted about it earlier in this thread). They had some Matthews Fan Company/Atlas Fan Company 3 round-bladed wall-mounted fans (Melody, I think, is the model name) in nickel, with the 4-speed wall controls mounted directly below each fan. There were also some larger wall-mounted industrial fans (which I think are Daytons) in the enclosed porch area. Joe's decided to close this location, and a local brewery and restaurant took its place. The place hardly remodeled (they used the buckets for the scrap crab shells at Joe's Crab Shack to hold the condiments at each table, for example), and all of the fans remain. I've never seen any of the fans turned on. -There's a restaurant and bar near me that has 4 or 5 Hampton Bay Delanos in the main dining room. The place changed ownership and remodeled, but I believe they still kept the fans. -There's a pizza place/sports bar near me that just opened called Boston's. The only fans are outside on the patio, which hasn't opened yet since they just opened in the winter. They have 4 Regency or Kendal Lighting fans that have an uplight and the 4 odd-shaped blades are mounted directly to the bottoms of the fans. I haven't yet seen them on. -There was a Red Lobster near me (I may have posted about this in this thread before) that had 4 early 2000s black Hunter Santa Barbaras in the bar. They recently remodeled, and the fans were removed. They re-tiled where the fans used to hang. -There's a Jimmy John's in my local mall that has a single black Haiku fan in the front entrance. It's always on, and it's the only fan in the place. -There was a cafe that closed that had 4 bronze Harbor Breeze Builder's Bests/Classic Styles installed on those weird recessed light-to-fan conversion kits. A bar opened up in its place and installed some modern-looking Hampton Bay or Harbor Breeze things in their place. -There was an Italian restaurant near me that had 42" Broan Europas in white with schoolhouse light kits in the main dining areas and party room, and 4 56" white Canarm industrials in the bar. The place remodeled and renamed themselves (but still kept the same ownership). The place became a sports bar and restaurant, and the Europas got replaced by bronze Hampton Bay Glendales. The bar expanded and relocated the ceiling boxes, so now there are 8 52" bronze Harbor Breeze Tilghmans with matching light kits in place of the industrials. -There's a restaurant near me styled after a ski lodge. They have a separate outdoor dining area, and in that area there are several bronze Hampton Bay Metros or Minka Aire Rainmans. There are also several wall-mounted misting fans around that area. That's all I can think of for now!
