I was browsing around the internet when I came across a picture of a ceiling fan that looked just like the Hampton Bay 2001 Grayton accept it was antique brass and a strange light kit (Pictured below). I clicked on the website this image came from and found it was an SMC ceiling fan website. Which is where I was able to find the brushed nickel / chrome fan that looked very similar accept it had a different lights and different blade brackets (Pictured below). Here's the website where they came from www.smc.com.hk/smccf/export.htm does anyone know what the model name of these SMC fans are? Or if they're still available? To me, the motor on those looks more like the current Grayton than the second revision..

Trust me they're the Grayton 1.5's / 2001 Graytons. Here have a look. Grayton 1.5 / 2001 Grayton Attachment DeletedGrayton II Attachment DeletedYou can tell because the Grayton 1.5's motor is more thin than the Grayton II. They also have completely different vents.

Due to the light kit and the finish on the first one it's not exactly the same. But if it was white and had a schoolhouse light kit it would be exactly like it. As for the second one the light kit, finish, and blade brackets are different. But it still has the same motor shape.

They did not had a particular model name. The first one was sold at Canadian Tire around 1999-2003. When it came out it was one of the first SMC in the country along with the rainbow hugger to have a reversing switch. David G had a white one at Entraide Mercier in 2013. ada19851985.proboards.com/thread/4249/davids-ceiling-fans-sightings?page=56The second one might have been sold at Sears around the same years but with five blades.
