Is this fan reversible? I tried to find the black knob to switch direction, but was unsuccessful. Thank you.

I can't access your computer. Please upload it on imageshack.us and post the link here.

Look on the top of the motor housing. If there is no reverse switch, the fan is NOT reversible.

Come on lol, Google led right to the VCF website: www.vintageceilingfans.com/searsceilingfanmodel292.904200.htmlUsually in a fan like that, the reverse switch would be located in one of the vents in the bottom of the motor housing, above the blades. I don't know if that variant is reversible offhand. If it's not in a vent and not on top of the fan, then it is not reversible. For once Vincent wasn't far off...

If there is no reverse switch, you can add a reverse switch somewhere, and wire it in the way it can switch windings from full power and capacitor (there are 2 windings; one for start and one for run, and when you reverse, start windings become run windings and vice versa). I was able to get my nonreversible SMC Laguna to run on reverse. PLEASE test with light bulb in series; you don't want to toast the motor.

Most likely not reversible. It should be in downdraft which can be used year round. Reverse is mostly a gimmick.

You cannot add a reverse switch, at least not easily.
