I like the fan. Got one in once when I was at Habitat and it was a MACHINE on high. Just a friendly suggestion... you could get a more accurate idea of how much air the fan is blowing and how much wind noise it generates if you turned the other one off while you were making the video. It is hard to hear this fan because the other one is so loud.

Great find Mark! Though it would have looked a lot better with a white switch housing, it still could have been far worse. The red wire is for an optional light kit. I like the fan. Just turn it off for the video and then turn it back on... the fan you're showing will be blowing air anyway!

Sadly that's not the case.. Facebook has taken alot of members away from here.. It's more like the dramabook, where I absolutely will never take part of... I've noticed alot of people in the ceiling fan community are a magnet to anything that has to do with drama.. Besides I think Facebook will wear off eventually and people will get tired of it.. I have no time for Facebook, it consumes too much time and I'm always on the run.. I choose a forum over Facebook.. I can post something, and come back later and find it easily.. I can post pictures and they won't disappear eventually.... Like with the antique TV and Radio website, I'm active their forum, and there is also a few Facebook groups of that stuff too, but I've never even looked into that either on facebook.. I've had to stop collecting ceiling fans.. I no longer do habitat runs, but may periodically, and the only way I would buy something, if it's something rare, and not your average Hunter Original of Crompton Greaves I see every time I'm out to those places.. Facebook = Mark Zuckerberg pets

Facebook = Mark Zuckerberg pets It does seem like the Facebook is slowly replacing the forums, and that's also a good point about the drama, it sure seems to be that way. I would never join the Facebook either, between my YouTube and the forum, I spend enough time on the computer.
What does the future hold for you in terms of fan collecting, is it something you'd go back to eventually?

Space is a big problem.. I would have to get rid of alot of stuff, and that's why some stuff I want gone, and gone instantly.. Lot of fans I horded since about 2003 are in bad shape seeing how they were in a storage unit that wasn't climate controlled, and they weren't stored properly.. They still work, but the finishes are in bad shape, and some with bearings also.. I have no time and money to invest in refinishing them, So they gotta go..

I just post to Facebook because it's more convenient on my phone as to posting pictures and videos. I can only post photos and add video via my computer it seems
