It's cool that you did a real estate thread for your area. I'm thinking about doing one for Québec. I have so many real estate pictures accumulated from a while.
The SMC Park Avenue look funny with the blades installed like this.
The pull chains from the last fan looks like something from Fandango Alaska.

$100,000 to $200,000 range:
42" SMC Park Avenue II: 42" Hampton Bay Brighton: 42" Banvil (?) ventless housing: 42" SMC/Super/Airworks/Generic/Likewise hugger: 42" second generation Canarm Mystic: It's cool that you did a real estate thread for your area. I'm thinking about doing one for Québec. I have so many real estate pictures accumulated from a while. I'd like to see that Jean. Are there a lot of Four Seasons Venairs and Nadairs? The SMC Park Avenue look funny with the blades installed like this. Clearly someone didn't read the instructions... The pull chains from the last fan looks like something from Fandango Alaska. It was also something that Four Seasons Venair used oddly enough. Maybe it's a later Synlix-made Mini Victorian?

What happened to that first SMC Park Avenue?!?!? It seems to be a rather common problem with people installing the blades wrong, but there's definitely more wrong with it than that.
That outrageousess aside, nice pictures, some cool fans and installs here. Thanks for posting!

There really isn't much of older fans.
Yes a Westinghouse Jewel would look better there.

There really isn't much of older fans. That's mainly a trend in apartments. Don't forget, fans in those types of installations get worn out far quicker than in most single-family homes. Yes a Westinghouse Jewel would look better there. I have no idea why they chose to install a Mediterranean bronze Hampton Bay Campbell there! At least the brushed nickel model would have been somewhat better.

That is why I prefer to look at single family homes for photos of fans in real estate.

Its pretty much exactly opposite here, once you exceed that price range its all modern garbage..houses under $100,000 seem to be the only ones with older fansIt is indeed installed correctly... How does any air get above the blades?

Its pretty much exactly opposite here, once you exceed that price range its all modern garbage..houses under $100,000 seem to be the only ones with older fans Interesting. The thing with homes (or apartments, rather) under the $300,000 in Vancouver is that 80% plus of the fans you'll find will be low-end Canarms and Heritages models. Once you go above that, you'll start seeing more from showroom brands such as Kendal Lighting. Though these might be newer, they're still a notable step up from some cheapo $29.99 Canadian Tire specials. How does any air get above the blades? Honestly, I'm the wrong person to ask. Zachary would probably know, as his brother has one.
