I'll be posting any vintage or interesting ceiling fan sightings I come across anywhere across Australia.
Enjoy

Nice! I thought the ones with the turquoise knob on the controller were newer models.

I think I remember some of these pictures, but they're still cool sightings to see again. All of these fans are unusual in some way compared to what I usually see around here. Do those Mistralaire fans have cast motors?

Yes, I remember theses pictures, they are very nice. They would all be awesome to have in the galleries.
The first fan uses the same motor as seen on the first 4 Saisons fans that were imported around 1978-1979.
The Indian made Revelair would actually be made by USHA and not Usher.
Fans no 1, 2, 6, 8 and 9 would all be larger so 140 cm (56).
I love all the curved blade fans.
I still have never seen a Crompton Parkinson in person.

Thank you for the corrections, usher was a miss spell.

Those are indeed some cool sightings! You guys in Australia are lucky when it comes to spinners, as they are still readily sold in stores. Here in North America, you'd be lucky to find a single polished brass fan for sale at a home center or hardware store, let alone a spinner with cane...
