All the Instagram stuff remember? Also the undeniable fact that it uses more than 100 watts on almost every fan that uses the K55XL. And I will be going to Dallas Lighting market soon today. Enough with that, man. We don't have any proof of this and its best we don't revive this topic and defer the subject of the new stuff for 2015/

And yeah I know although this IS on topic. Its the new fans.

Since nobody is denying the fact that the XPL is still being used, neither is anyone denying the fact that it is being phased out, I don't see what is trying to be proven...

This new model from Fanimation, the Ascension is very cool! I'm excited of it being available. Four metal blades just like I like them and a classic shaped spinner motor. A more contemporary ball and socket canopy and contemporary finishes. This one happens to be an odd 137 cm in size like the Monte Carlo and Kendal Studio instead of 120, 132 and 140 cm like the ones seen in Australia. www.fanimation.com/products/ascension/?group_id=994I'm positively surprised Fanimation came up with that.

Wow..I'm quite surprised with this myself..I never though we'd see something this classic and simple out of Fanimation..Specs are pretty decent too..I quite like it in white..Would like one for my office actually..Resembles an old Nutone industrial in my opinion..with the exception of the canopy.. I don't mind that one also..it reminds me a lot of the Lasko 4 blade industrial..Wish it wasn't so expensive..I can only imagine how much the Fanimation one is going to cost..

Mitchell, those Lucci Air Airfusion is exactly what I was thinking. Martec also has something similar.
Jordan, yes it's probably the most simple fan Fanimation ever came up with so far. I love it. That price for the Lucci is in Australian dollars so it would be more like 132 US $.
Obi-Wan, I'm not sure to understand.

I'd agree with you on this one. It almost looks like something that Casablanca would have sold back in the 90's, prior to getting sold around to various investment companies. This doesn't do it for me, probably due to my dislike of modern minimalism. So that's what these are... Minka Aire/Hampton bay indeed! At least it isn't hideous. Didn't Craftmade have a fan like this at one point? Hey, I didn't Home Depot changed their website. Oh wait, I'm on Casablanca's site Minka Aire already has a Stealth Copy. Why do they need another one? Those are both pretty interesting. The first one looks like an overseas-fan. Obi-Wan, I'm not sure to understand. "Obi-Wan" is Dan's new username...
