A friend of mine just recently bought a house and wanted me to replace two of the ceiling fans that were in the bedrooms. There were two PB 42" GE-vent K-Mart Alaskas that came with the house and One was replaced with a PB 52" 5B 5L Winnower flushmount, and the other was replaced with a PB 42" 5B 1L Litex Close Up from 1995. I only have pics of the Winnower, but will get pics of the Litex soon. I got the Winnower from a former co-worker of mine and one of the blade arms was broken, so I went to Home Depot to get it a new Westinghouse blade arm set (technically, it is a builder fan). Also, I gave it a whole new set of blades that I got for 50 cents at a church yard sale in 2008 since the ones that came with it had a warped blade in the mix Before: After:

Winnower looks good!
Why did he want the fans replaced?

He did not like the lights that were on the Alaskas, plus the one was too small for the master bedroom where the Winnower is.

I really like both fans! But, anything with pretzel brackets works in my book, so the Alaska was good too. What are you going to do with it?

I will trade the Alaska to another collector.

Great fans... I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.
