The Hugger is not a Nutone. Why would you think it is? Nutone huggers have squared GE vents.
It's a Codep, you can tell because of the vertically-ribbed sideband. I think some of those were also labeled Ritz, this would be part of the later-model Ritz line I mentioned in another thread.

Also I've never seen that version of the Emperor. It's like the classic Emperor but ball-socket. Still has the trademark SMC blades, the later SMC Emperors dont.

Their blades are slightly different, plus they both have 3-way light kits...I never knew what they were until now. Thanks for pointing out that they are Codeps.

Thanks for pointing out that they are Codeps. Codep had a variety of simialr huggers, all had very wide blades and deep blade arms. Some have multi-colored pilot lights on the switch housing. Others, like the one pictured, have a vertically ribbed sideband. Also, if you remove the motor housing, the motor is distinctive, it's "pancake style", two pieces stamped steel with a lip in the middle. There must be some correlation between Codep and CEC as I've seen CEC fans with similar motors. We've already unearthed a connection between Codep and Moss. Damn import fans, all connected and vastly the same.
