I went on a day trip the other day and stopped at a Home Depot to look at something. I of course had to go to the fan dept. since its just part of my routine despite some of the pitiful excuses for sale there and the price tag jumped out at me for the Hampton Bay Landmark...

It's not worth that... it's not even worth $25.

Yeah... more like single-digits range.
Did you find anything good, by any chance?

I like how my mind works.. When I go to Home Depot or Lowes, I go there and look for what I need, I don't pay attention to the fan display.. So as far as knowing what's on display and sale models, makes etc. I don't know.. Sorta like when I go to the Habitats.. The only thing that sticks out are only fans of my interest, everything is background blur..

I've seen so many builder fans at various Habitat ReStore's, that I really couldn't care less about.

Yeah... more like single-digits range. Did you find anything good, by any chance? I went to a bunch of neat places and had a great day. Fan wise all I saw was 2 dirty white Farmington's. I tried to find a restore but we couldn't find it. The address their website provided plugged into my GPS didn't take us there. I also attempted to find a showroom that I've been to another location but they moved 15 minutes away and we had other places to go so we didn't find any fans. As for the HD/Lowes, locally all but one showroom has closed so its nice to just see fans for the most part. Plus up until the last few months I haven't had a problem with Hunter but the 2012+ models have junk motors now they've declined something in them which is making them louder and their paint is all scraped up. With Habitats/Thrift stores I look at any fan there cause you never know. I've gone to one restore where I was like all builder stuff and my girlfriend spotted two vintage fans I didn't even see hidden behind a door leaning against the shelves. Ultimately, I just find it insane that Home Depot is going to try to get that much (which I'm sure they will) for the Landmark which is although pleasant on the eyes i comparison to alot of newer fans, is loud and cheaper made then a ton of the stuff out there.
