Hello, folks.
It's me again, with another one of my pleas for information.
This time, I'm trying to learn about Sanyo ceiling fans and Lasko ceiling fans.
I know some things about Lasko's later fans, like the Wal-Mart ones and the Sears "Turn-of-the-Century". But I know nothing about Lasko's earlier fans, like the ones that had cloth-cord pull chain switches. I want to know about those, and also Lasko's very first ceiling fan model. I'd also like to know the early part of the company history, when it started doing ceiling fans. Like what propelled it into the business.
And with the Sanyo ceiling fans, I want to know *everything* about them.
Any information any of you have is very much appreciated!

But I know nothing about Lasko's earlier fans, like the ones that had cloth-cord pull chain switches. The industrial ones were made for Dayton and sold in the Grainger catalogs, among other places. The residential models were made for Sears, however I've never actually seen them in a Sears catalog, so I'm not really sure what years they were made. Lasko Metal Products has been around since 1906 but I have not heard of any ceiling fans of theirs prior to the 80s. I used to have some Lasko window fans from the 40s? 50s? I cant qutie remember.
