The first one is a C-17 which makes it an old bugger. Notice the rounded switch housing. There are some experts that could tell you more about it.
The second one-- what makes you say it is a low profile original? It doesnt have the special canopy Brian was talking about, it looks as though it has a regular canopy with a short downrod. You could be right though.

c-17 is around 1920
yes that brown n brass one is a regular mount (they just didn't bother to remove the canopy (note there was no oil spillage on either one) so both of those fans would need rebuilding, however i can talk and walk anyone thru that.
