Not sure this is relevant.. but I have a USHA industrial...and I have absolutely no idea how it found itself in the US. Like I said before it might have been brought by people from India and they donate it to an economy store because they realized it didn't worked with the local voltage. Do you have a voltage transformer to try it? i remember finding a 110v TMT dated feb 2003 from the scrapyard a few months back

Adam sounds like he may be describing a Carroway, which are late 70s/early 80s, or an HRS-- same era.
I too have never came across anything imported older than late 70s.

i remember finding a 110v TMT dated feb 2003 from the scrapyard a few months back 50 or 60 Hz? I was about to ask the same but I'm guessing it's 60Hz and it was intended to be used in Saudi Arabia. They are currently a lot of 120V - 60Hz TMT's sold in México. www.ventoventiladores.com/

Oooooh.. yeah, definitely for Saudi Arabia (or any other country that uses 127v 60Hz).

Yes, this fan must have been made to be used in Saudi Arabia and it's exactly the same type of TMT that would be used in México. You kept the fan? C-5603 is my favorite recent TMT model.
127V and 120V are the same thing in the end and perfectly compatible. I don't know why some people still refer to the voltage here as being 110V. Here's it's precisely set at 120 and when I put a voltage tester in an outlet there's no hesitations at all. The arrow points exactly at 120, not 121 or 119. I believe the voltage was raised a little over the decades. Probably after the Second World war. 110V sounds like archaic term. I only see this on devices older than the 1960's.

yes it is for saudia arabia, strangely in saudia, they supply voltage in both 127 V and 220 V 60 Hz... i remember finding SMC regulators for sale in a community website in saudia, all the regulators were rated 127 v, i also found a completely burnt OX ceiling fan with a power rating of 220V-60Hz

HRS bought fans from other companies and stuck their label on them, so it could be a Canarm or something else.

There the voltage is 120 or 220 depending on the States and the frequency is regulated at 60Hz. Did you kept the 120V TMT you found?

Adam, did the old metal blade fans you saw looked like the picture I posted?
