I dont remember Ace around here ever selling fans, so I dont know if they carried Evergo, but they do most of them have 70s (and early 80s) Emersons installed in the stores, so, presumably they carried Emerson at one point.

Dan, i live in this town for the past 13-years and occasionaly go to this hardware store, i know what they sell., they only get 3 or 4-fans from the same model and brand a year. They get them from somewhere else.
I said; "I wonder if he got that fan from hold Ace hardware?" i never said "He got it from the Ace Hardware"

So you're saying Ace *did* carry Evergo, they did not, or you dont know?

No, what i said was the local Ace sold that fan way back in 1992, they bought them somewhere else and re-sold them. that's what they always do with their fans.
I saw the auction and recognized the box, but i never knew it was an Evergo., i didn't knew the existence of that brand until i got an old {Dimango} remote control., the instructions have a few compatible brands and models.

Ironically, that's how I first learned about Moss and a number of other brands, from the list in the remote control. I think I still have that list somewhere, when I can find it I'll bring it out, maybe we can discover some other brands. Evergo imported fans from Taiwan and Hong Kong, some of them had motors painted green similar to the Ritzes. Others were industrial-types, many also amrketed under the name "Envirofan". They're common around here because Menards, a more localized version of Home Depot (and much much better than Home Depot in many ways, see other threads) sold them in the 80s.
