I think SMC provides a few models for Casa Vieja. As I said, "Casa Vieja" is the name Lamps Plus markets their store brands under.
You can tell that their current logo is a knockoff. The 1987 "logo" was even moreso. Note the direct ripoff of all of Casablanca's trademarks: "World's Most Desired Ceiling Fans" instead of "World's Finest Ceiling Fans"; "Original Ceiling Fan Company" instead of "America's Fan Company", etc. The box of the 1987 fan I won off Ebay even has the pencil drawing of the fan under the name (the one on Ebay has a photo.)
On a side note, the fan I won runs incredibly smooth and quiet. I would guess its spinner motor is GE, since the top of it doesn't look like a K55.

However, I dont think you mean a spinner motor. If you're talking about a stack/18-pole/K55 style motor, GE made some good ones as well.

Right, it's a stack/flywheel motor. No idea why I wrote "spinner"...
