Here are some of my personal collection updates for all those interested. I installed Dan's 36" FASCO Charleston in my bedroom. I am amazed at how thick the blades are! Runs great, and moves air! Installed his 42" Lasko hugger with Lasko white ABS plastic blades in my bathroom, another winner! I since obtained a circa 1992 52" Lasko white/brass dual mount 5 blade fan in pretty good shape for $10. Blades a little warped, but runs well. Makes an odd click from time to time though somewhere inside the mount and I can figure out what it is. My other Wal Mart late 90's Lasko does the same thing. I put the $10 one in my kitchen. Finally, I finally got the 1989 Fasco Charleston "Liberty Collection" I paid $50 after shipping from someone selling it up north from here. Its appliance white and brass and has 5 blades with the ball/socket mount. Havnt hung it yet, but is going in my living room as long as I can get the remote from the old one to fit in the canopy of this one. It was totally packed in its original box, but had been hung, despite what the person told me. You can see where the blade brackets were mounted on the blades clearly. But man, this thing really is in new condition, I mean it is perfect! He also included a FASCO fan/light combo control, its a shame the outlet box has no wall switch(hence the remote since we have to have a dimmer for the light.) Just thought I would let everyone know of these wonderful additions! Thanks!
