Finally I got around to taking a pic of my Hunter Transitions fan. I bought it brand new back in 2010. Works great. No complaints. Attachment Deleted

This thing actually doesn't look too bad. How well does it perform, in terms of air movement?

In order of answers:
Andrew G: Thank you. My criteria when swapping out the 42" POS generic hugger fan was: It had to perform like a high-end prostitute, flush mount (more on that later) and I wanted a 3 blade look to it. Why not an industrial? I needed a light. And of course, I had to like the way it looks.
So: currently the fan is hung with the ball/socket only because I needed something to do and was bored. The blades are reversible (grey on the other side to match the colour of the fan itself) and the light is a halogen lamp with the two prongs, and can be dimmed. Alternatively I can run a CFL bulb but then I lose the dimming option.
Aesthetics: When you enter the room, the thing looks MASSIVE! I could have shoehorned a 54-60" fan in here, but that would have been a little over-the-top. Everybody that has seen it thinks it looks awesome. The 3 blade look gives it a bit of an industrial look to it, but modern. I like that.
Performance: It doesn't spin overly fast, but it moves A TON of air, and is snake-silent. The only noise you hear is of the cyclone it creates on high speed. Part of the reason for that, is because thanks to a few washers/spacers of equal weight and size, I re-pitched the blades more aggressively for even MORE air movement. Zero wobble, no motor noise at all. It does have a reverse switch (located up top) and have had no problems. The fan is generally running on one of its 3 speeds 24/7. Energy star rated too.
OKAY: Now that I've praised the fan in all its glory, my complaints:
I would have preferred to have a switch on the remote for the reverse function. Not a big deal. A well, the single halogen lamp is more of a spotlight. It does not light up the room like a regular single bulb, but I couldn't care less. I have additional lava lamps and crap anyways.
for $169, I'd say I did alright. I originally was going to pull the trigger on a Minka Aire Concept II but the 44" was $100 more and Home Depot quoted me $300+ for the 52" version. After a bunch of reviews regarding the CII, I said to myself, "Hunter is well known. How bad can it be?" I would buy another one should this one crap out. BUT: would definitely consider the Fanimation (cover your ears) Enigma if I could find the ltd production colour-shifting one at the same price as this one.

If you really wanted an industrial, another option would've been something like a TAT. They're light kit-adaptable and you could rig an accessory remote to it easily enough.
