Um, you do. That fan picture you just posted, it's Reversaire. The Adaptaire system, looks like, for example, the "grapeleaf" picture you referenced on the Yahoo Group.

For once, I feel like a moron! I should know this by now! Well, thanks anyhow Dan. Yes, and now that I mention it...does anybody have a white 4-blade 52" Hunter Original with Adaptaire---like, with the newer-style canopy and stepped (not rounded) switch housing? For sale? What were the years Adaptaire was offered?

If you think I should feel like a moron more often, make me. You just have to get me in a clear situation that I can NOT weasel out of (even with very big words).
Adaptaire is EXTREMELY cool.
The lead panned out...she ain't sellin'--nor the Comfort Breezes.
I think that you guys'll like my pics when I upload them to my Yahoo group (ceilingfancollectors) in a week or so. I've got tons of one-of-a-kind fans from the 1970's and 1980's.

You know, I do that pretty often, most of the time you just ignore it. I'm sure you're well aware you post a lot of stupid sh*t on this forum. The lead panned out...she ain't sellin'--nor the Comfort Breezes. Keep trying I think that you guys'll like my pics when I upload them to my Yahoo group (ceilingfancollectors) in a week or so. I've got tons of one-of-a-kind fans from the 1970's and 1980's. Very much looking forward to them. Are they as cool as mine?

Yes, and what years were the 36''originals made in? Id'd like to know. You talking about the 30s era ones with no vents and metal blades, or the more recent (80s) version? For the record, I dont know the exact years either.

My pictures are FAR cooler than yours because: *I have multiple pics for each fan, from different angles *My pics were done on professional black&white film, with a HIGH-quality camera *My pics show rare and REALLY cool fans *My pics are REALLY high resolution (i. e. greater than 1024x768) So, in short, my pics stir-fry and consume your pics.

So, in short, my pics stir-fry and consume your pics. I'll believe it when I taste it. Asit is, I had all those things, and better, however I had so many pictures that Yahoo Groups did not permit me to post them all nor in full quality. I had to limit myself to one (or occasionally two) photos per fan, and downgrade the quality to the standard Yahoo Groups level. Lastly, I think color photos are better than black and white in this case. Granted, black and white ar more artistic, but we're not trying to achieve art here, we're trying to make fans recogniseable.
