Actually, I have a 1920s Westinghouse, the model that looks similar to that (anyone have a picture) that was given to me in simialr shape. I had a friend rewind it for me, and he still has it . . . when I get it back I will probably strip and refinish it as well. More of a joke than anything else . . . but who knows, I might have a beautiful fan at the end of it.
But the idea of selling something in that shape on eBay, and for that price?! I really think people should take IQ tests before they're allowed to post anything on the internet, particulalry on eBay.

This fan was just relisted and this time , at a much lower price, somewhere around $49.95 starting bid instead of a ridiculous $160
