I was thinking of going for that, but I didn't. Glad you got it, not too keen on the white blades with that finish, but I guess the contrast is nice (:

With a name like this I was almost expecting a GEC Kingsway. Haha! Why do they often give names to American stationary housing fans to that would have made more sens for other fans of other parts of the world? It's like the brand Calcutta. You could take your pictures without the flash, no?

I'm slightly surprised that this thing doesn't have an exposed rubber flywheel.

I'm thinking I'll have an alternate blade set made just because I can. These aren't bad but I'd like a dark option as well.
I really wonder where some of these names come from as well. I mean "British India" is pretty out there. FASCOs actually made some sense, using places in and around NC or names that fit the size and style of the fans.
I could take them without the flash, yes, but then they turn out crappy because the light in that room is horrible for pictures.

I'm slightly surprised that this thing doesn't have an exposed rubber flywheel. My T-3 uses the metal flywheel as well. I much prefer it to the rubber ones, looks better and more importantly will not break.

I love these.. This is a very neat fan... I wonder how much it went for, hopefully nothing near the amount I see that Fasco Heat Cylinder that pops up on there every so often.. When I get NIB fans, I always make sure they double box it so no packing tape ruins the literature on the box..

No, it was super cheap of I wouldn't have bothered. There's two more on there right now, another brown and a white/almond one. Normally a shipping label doesn't bother me because some of the boxes are in such bad shape anyways, but this one would've killed me if I got it with a label slapped over the ones on the boxes. I've never thought of wrapping the boxes, seems obvious now, but if the box is already sturdy enough for shipping it's a great idea without having to double box.

I am tempted to go for one of these, but it's not a fan/finish I can use right now . . . I need to buy fans I can use . . .

That's an interesting fan...definitely would look better with darker blades, but it's decent-looking as-is. Glad the seller didn't stick labels on the box!

Here is the fan with much more appropriate walnut blades. Unfortunately the interior packaging was gone, so the seller wrapped everything in bubble wrap with NO padding between the blades themselves, so the screws scratched up three of the four, some worse than others. I'm not super happy about it lol, but I think I can do a little work and fix them up a bit.
