I found this fan on eBay...it is a 1970's spinner (new in box!) called the "Commander Ceiling Fan" made by the Commander Electrical Corp. (still making fans today). Here is the link: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2374242360&category=20699&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBDW%3AIT&rd=1Now, if one were to go to Taiwan's business listings webpage, they would find some info and a link to Commander Elec. Corp.'s webpage (dead link): business.com.tw/home/e0044491/home.htmI struck a deal with the seller, and the fan will arrive within a few days. It is a bright brass fan, apparently with a BEAUTIFUL walnut finish, and it is a definite inflation fighter! LOL I'm sure that it was a great fan for its day. LOL When the fan arrives and is installed, I'll email Adam some Donated Pictures of it. BTW, does anybody know what type of speed control this fan comes with?

I have the same fan, 36" white three blades, with the name "Global" on it.
