Whats up people...few more fans I seen. I know it's been a minute but here I go! some spinners in A New Orleans Store. i forget what brand and they do have cane blades on the other side. They missing the brass badge on the blades too. five out of six One was replace with a crafmade. Went to a Wedding at the Greater Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Donaldsonville,La and they have 10 or 12 Hunter Designer Choices in the church with Chandeliers on them...not my taste! But love the fans! Church was rebuilt in 1987 so I guess this was when they were installed. Spinner motors in them. more to come

I like the spinners.
The Hunters are neat, I don't like the chandeliers on the fans necessarily, but I do find it interesting that the fans are the main source of light in that way. Haven't seen a ton of installations like that.

If you're going to have chandeliers on fans in a church, this is the way to do it!

Laguna in a bar that needs to be fix. I really want it. A Robin and Myers in a store in New Orleans A Casablanca That needs attention! There's a few more that needs flywheels now! A red Lasko in a kitchen...needs to come out.

Oh my that poor Delta II. Otherwise neat sightings, it's awesome how much variety of cool stuff there still is.

I love the diversity of fans in southern Lousiana too except for the lack of metal blade fans. I've noticed those are not popular at all there.
On the top pictures, I guess the fans were Moss Tropical Breeze and the replacement a matte black Craftmade Decorative.
The switch housngs on a lot of SMC's comes off very easily. Too easily maybe.
I suposse the only thing holding the flywheel togheter and keeping the blades from falling is the ring of steel in it. It still looks funny how badly twisted the flyweeel seems and comes out a lot of the hole. It looks like it's cut in two. They are more fans in this codition in the place?

It certainly seems like more damage has been done to the Delta II, a bad flywheel would merely drop. This is like it's been mangled, but I'm curious about the non-original blades too. Maybe it's a modification gone wrong.

yeah, I didn't think those flywheels were capable of breaking like that...

It looks to me as if the brackets are what is causing the blades to drop, not the flywheel.

No, it is definitely the flywheel.
