Classic ceiling fans around New Orleans

Hey Fan collectors. I will starting a new thread here to show you some vintage and classic ceiling fans around New Orleans and other areas as well. At times,im working out here or going to play for churches. There will be no "up to date" fans on here. Nothing but classic and vintage! ;D ;D ;D


Hunter Original on A porch in New Orleans. I like the blades. Idk what year it's from..



Antique G.E.?? Im not sure. Blades not original. It's in a bar in Algries,La. there was another in there but was replace by a hb! A MESS!!!





This a old Westinghouse in a bar in St.Rose,La. where I live. There are about three of theses in there, Still works! Been there since the 1910-1920...it used to be a hotel.



Some old Originals i believe C-17 in a old store in New Orleans. The one by the door has two blades and they run well.



1980s Original in store in New Orleans across the street from the other store. That canopy been down for as long as i can remember..



Two old industrials I forgot the name but the tag has heavy duty on it. its in a store in Gretna,la




Haven't seen these in a long time! I believe these are by evergo! I really want them. Its three in there! these are in a store in Gretna la as well

A old G.E. vent in a store in Algries,La. I never saw this before. It has a variably speed control on it too.



Seen These at a Funeral Home last night. A church was using this place and I had to play drums. I forgot what brand are these and the light kits are from Harbor Breeze. I know the ball sockets can't be original. They control on speed and dimmer controls. There was other fans in there but cheap

Thanks for posting this. It's awesome. I would love to go to southern Louisiana. There's a lot of cool fans there.

The fan on the second and third picture seems to be a 1940's Emerson Longnose with none original blades and brackets.

The old industrial are indeed Envirofan/Banvil Gold Line. They are from about 1979 to the early 1980's.

That's a very weird install with the last brown spinner. I wonder how it can hold well there. I prefer theses without the lower canopy like the last one.

I LOVE the very chunky GE vent fan! It's kind of hard to tell if it's 90 cm or 107 cm.

Theses ornate fans are beautiful. The newer Harbor Breeze light kits matches well the fans. Nadair offered this same style of wall control in the early 1990's. That's a weird switch set up there.

You have to do it in your Photobucket. Set the size of your images to '1024 x 768.' Although, you'll probably have to edit your post and swap out the old IMG links with the new ones, I don't think they resize on their own if they've been posted somewhere.

I love the Evergo's.. Looks like one of them is a version with no lower canopy, but that is a crazy install.. The chunky GE Appears to be a Codep/Antica...

Nah, GE vent isn't an Antica. Looks like a Tyeb to me

idk what this is but this is at Copland s Restaurant in Harvey La. There are about 15 of them. No pull chain.

It's the ornate version of those "Green Fans" Dan found a few years back! Surprised they don't have pull chains though... I guess they're wall controlled?

yeah I believe so...I was looking for it but never found it
