Forgot to post over here! Sorry guys! I had this SMC Promo in a rubbermaid box for 2 years I think. It was given by Jean L to me for one of my birthday. This Weekend I was at my grand-parents' house so I brought the fan with me, to find him a room. I wanted so bad to get that beautiful fan hung! In the basement there, this small storage room was perfect for it! So me and Grand-pa installed it, he did the electricity job and I did the rest Made it two bladed, lol ;D now three bladed ;D didnt run it thought! here is an overview of the dimensions of the rooms it's running! the only thing with the fan: bearings are soooo noisy! Even with oil, didnt change anything!

This general sort of spinner: 36", stencil blades, tiny motor, bottom-mount holders, single light fitter - but in white/PB - is in countless apartment complexes here. I usually despise them, mainly because they look chintzy and I've seen what seems like hundreds of them, all identical.
This one, however, is kind of adorable. Nice finish, nice globe, in a nice spot. I like this lil' guy.

I normally don't like this kind of spinner either, but the Promo is one of the few exceptions that I actually like quite a bit.
