Yeah, I have a ton of them, although they're the ones with the rectangle vents and the slimmer motor housings . . . I also have some of the ones with the metal housing . . . and some blender fans . . . these are all really good fans, I agree, get them while you can, you will never regret it. You can always convert them to 3 or variable speed.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but I believe this one has the metal motor housing. At least I remember ours having them. Now the switch housing, on the other hand, is plastic (those white ones turn yellow real easy.)
My '81 Emerson (the one I put the Lasko blades on) has the plastic motor housing with the rectangular holes.

From what the picture looks like on ebay, it looks metal, the one we had in a our kitchen in our old house was plastic. with a light kit.....Adam

Nope, it's moulded plastic, jsut like the white one in Adam's gallery. I had that exact fan but the motor windings had a short (something had fallen in them) so I parted it out.
