Chu Pang Industrial Co., Ltd ceiling fan model CP-4801WL
Has been updated under the Taiwanese Gallery... Was offered one of these from someone that found the site.. I saw the variable speed control and remembered that I saw these same controls with the ones I found in that abandoned trailer years ago.. At that time I thought they didn't go with the fan so I didn't pull them from the wall... I just noticed that they say Satellite like the Ju Feng ceiling fan does..

Pretty much a clone of the 36" Ju Feng if you ask me. I thought there would be a little more of a difference in speed between high and low.

I don't think it should spin as fast as it should either, But even though the fans look identical, Chu Pang and Ju Feng are also two different factories.. This design may operate as it should..

I agree with Jon. Considering it has a variable speed control it really does not slow down much. Most of variable speed controllers have a min speed screw adjustment. This variable speed is very unusual looking but it might have one. It's usually on the side of the control but it could be on the back too. Commercial type of variable speed controllers have it on the front under the plate.
I suppose the switch at the bottom of the control is for a light kit. I'm surprised it says National on the switch.

It says national, but also says Satellite like the Ju Feng fans do.. It does slow the fan down alot.. Though the fan could go a little bit slower and a bit faster, the slow speed is more between med/slow speed compared to a normal three speed fan.. I don't think there is an adjustment on this control...
