Alright, here are some cutouts from some Sears catalogues. This is from an unknown year. I think it's from the late 90's. This is cut out from the Sears Fall Winter 2002 catalogue. I think these are the last ceiling fans Sears ever sold. Enjoy!

Amazing how they have one Casablanca and everything else appears to be SMC and Walmart crap.
Also, isn't the Stealth usually remote controlled or at least wall controlled? Don't ever remembering seeing a pull-chain one.

Thanks David. And I think the SMC did make a knock off version of the Casablanca Stealth. They both even sell their "Stealth" ceiling fans still today.

AWESOME! Thanks for posting. It brings back a lot of memories to see this. Theses were the days that Sears sold a lot of 4-speeds SMC's.
The two firsts pictures would be very late 1990s. It seems that Ontario had certain models different from Québec. In the two firsts pictures, I don't recognize C, D, E, G, J and K. Apparently E is a Canarm Tuscany II. Interesting. Sears never sold Canarms here.
I love most of the ones in the 2002 version. D is the only one I don't recognize. I thought that the little Laguna lasted up to 2001 but it's cool to know that they sold it as late as 2002. Of course in 2002, I was not living anywhere in Canada, that's how I don't know.
Actually, Sears sold ceiling fans up to 2004. During 2005 and 2006, they sold nothing and in 2007 and 2008 they made a come back with some Hunters but since 2009 they sold nothing again. Basically the last year that Sears sold SMC's was 2004.

The difference is pretty noticeable with the canopy and pull chains (4-speeds) and being in a Sears catalog too. Between the early 1980s to 2004, Sears sold mostly (and sometimes only) SMC's. None of theses fans are really crap. Not much to do with Wal-Mart. Sears sold mostly more upscale models. You would have never seen theses fancy SMC's such as models like A, B or D. (in the 2002 catalog) in a Wal-Mart. SMC still makes that Stealth imitation but only in 220V it seems. I'm surprised you've never seen it. www.smcfans.com/products/fans/bigimages/MJ52VB.htm

Hmm...I didn't know Sears had different models in Quebec and sold SMCs for a longer time in Quebec til 2004. In Ontario, Sears sold SMCs until 2002-2003 and our Sears sold Hunters, Disney fans, and a few Monte Carlos from 2007 to 2010.

I'm surprised they were still making that stencil-bladed Laguna in 2002. Pretty cool, actually.
