that's not an island fan,it's a sears/emerson " . . . It's very similar in design to the Sears Emersons that were essentially a blender fan with a motor housing, upper canopy and all. The difference in this case is there is no upper canopy, other than the motor housing the top of the motor and capacitors are exposed."

I never knew that under those motor overs in the K63s there lies a Blender Fan!

I like the Sears/Emerson design with the triangle switch housing.. They also have one of the blades installed upside down and on the wrong side of the bracket.. These seem to be uncommon in these parts.. I don't think I've ever seen one in person, at least that I can remember..

I think the ornate ones are my favorite, but I love them all!

I take it you got that white/brass Island Fan? Looks nice!
Also, I LOVE that K63 Emerson at the top of this page!

Thanks! Should I keep the cane blades, or flip them to plain?

I like the cane here, if it were me I'd definitely have it facing down.

I cant believe it, this video has the LEAST views in it's first day as any of my public ceiling fan videos! Everyone was begging for this, I delivered, and now crickets?
Still no idea why my community center video has 23k views, and the rest of my videos have less than 10k, even ones that have been around YEARS longer.
