Marelli ceiling fan pre 1950 ASTRA 142 model

Does anyone has informations about the Marelli ceiling fan model ASTRA 142 made by SOCIETE FRANCAISE DES MACHINES MARELLI (Witry-les-Reims) ?

Hello and welcome to Vintage Ceiling Fans.

I've heard of it and seen it before but I did not know that Marelli also had a branch in France but it makes sens since some of their fans were marked ''FABRIQUÉ EN ITALIE''.

There's a very nice site with many old pictures and drawing of Marelli fans from the 1910s to the early 1960s. Here's the Astra 142cm:

It's basically a two bladed version of the popular 1930s Flat model. I wonder if it's not even larger than 142cm. I think some of the two bladed Marelli were 152cm of even larger sometimes.

Here's the regular Flat version that was made in 90cm, 120cm and 142cm:

It does not appear to be called Astra. Do you know the name of this one? On Fantique, they simply call it Flat.

Nice old control. It's cool that some of them were made in France. It's definitely older than 1950. I would say mid 1920s - early 1930s. How many speeds does it have?

Do you live in France or in Italy perhaps?

So you just have the control and no fan?
