My gosh! The first batch of fans are very ugly and exaggerated!
The fan on the 7th picture is very cool though. Beautiful color.
The fan on the 13th picture is pretty common in a lot of counties right now. Notably South Africa.

Perrey, which website did you find these pics on? The first few you posted, I agree, an unnecessary mix of contemporary and Victorian, IMO. The second set of pics with the marble-like housings remind me of the JC Penney fans sold in the 90s and early 00s. I wish they made the DC Altura here, I actually find DC-motored fans to be significantly decent, not as good as a stack motor (XLP-2000, XLP-2100, or K55) but still better than an average spinner motor. I own an Emerson Midway DC Eco that is installed in the spare bedroom of my house, and it will blow you away and you can hear the wooshing sound of the air moving. I like its six speed settings, too. (:

I kind of like the third fan in the first post, and I think the industrial is awesome. The fourth fan in the second is a pretty sweet fan IMHO... jury is out on the light kit though. Everything else is either overkill and/or looks like a disaster at the paint factory.

I gotta say, I do rather like that industrial as well. Kinda reminds me of the Regency Orbit in a way (probably my favorite Regency fan), just more like a spinner.

(: I had these for quite sometime. I got some off Walden's and their manufacturers websites. I tend to have these along with the company details in case I decide to import them. Those marble-like units are Sheng Yuan/Pan Air Electric. I wasn't sold on the idea of fans with DC-powered motors until I saw a handful of them in action and I wasn't disappointed with their performance.
