Of course this time of year our paper usually prints an article about the effectiveness of ceiling fans, but usually the picture (if there is one) is nothing pretty to look at, often something new and even more often a builder. This year however, they put up a huge picture of a snazzy BRIGHT BRASS (yes, in this day and age!) Hunter Colonial. Not much to look at, but I was ecstatic that they finally used a good picture. Who knows what might show up next year...

Who knows what might show up next year... love it! i hope it be a vintage original in future

Here's the article. Really generic like it usually is. It's the whole thing except for the fan/room size recommendations at the bottom, which are just the usual recommendations.

NICE. i HAVE THAT LIGHT KIT I have two, sans globes though. One is still PB, the other turned chrome after I cleaned it.

Thats pretty neat! I really wonder why I can't think of where Colonial's were when I was younger they were a pretty common fan around here. I can even remember a commercial with a Colonial for some fan dealer locally.
