I must say those are some interesting pics of fans in interesting places.. Love the Enviro fans, and all the other spinners.. Love the 21 centuries, correct me if I'm wrong, Would love to find one of those locally.. The thrift shop down the corner from me just installed those Dayton industrial which I noticed the other day when going there, they have them going at very low speed.. Great pics of your sightings... And yes this 36 inch brown industrial looks like this fan in the link www.vintageceilingfans.com/classicconceptsindustrialmodelc-101.htmlnotice the canopies look like this Tat in this link www.vintageceilingfans.com/tatwindwardcf2a.html

Love the ceiling at the restaurant. I'm guessing the Delta flywheels were dropping, and that's why they replaced them.

Sorry for a bump on 7 year old post, but I went there last week, and took videos of these fans. I couldn't figure out how to get Emerson running, but I was able to borrow a remote for Casablanca S3. S3 had been on medium for a long time. Video (shows S3 on all 3 speeds): www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFVE7eWl6kc

Different blades and brackets. Also, S3 uses Versa-Touch 1 then 2 and Trident uses Prime-Touch.

Update on Casablanca S3. It seems to be dying. Capacitor is getting worse over time, 4 years ago it was spinning 165 RPM on high, now it's about 145 RPM on high. Video of it with capacitor being worse: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQU3K-yiRE8

I know this is late but I have answers to those questions now! I was going to ask what is exactly the Peabody Museum but I discovered that its a museum about dinosaurs and history of nature. Its in New Heaven, CT near Yale University. Was that a exhibit visit with your school? Nice pics! ONLY two ceiling fans for a THAT large room and they did not even put longer downroads! To me these fans are ugly, the 4 blades ones with switch housing are better. But they fit/looks good in that setting. It looks like they have been repaint. What kind of control do they use? The other contemporary brushed nickel one appears to be a Casablanca S3 or Trident(these two looks so much the same) again with 3 wood blades. With a halogen light kit and remote control. They use Emerson solid state speed controls, separate control for each fan. They did have covers with keys but I can tell covers were not installed at the same time as the switches were because there were some markings on the switch that the covers did cover completely even when opened. Those are VERY cool photos of VERY cool fans in a VERY cool setting. Thanks Ben. They are K55 Blenderfans with fiberglass blades, a rare combination. Most of the K55 ones had fake wood blades. Are both fans in the same room? Looks like it. I wonder why one is on and the other is not. Maybe the 'off' one is non-working. Did you ask about it? Obi-Wan Canopy Both fans are working. It's just that the control for the 'off' one stalled on most settings. My videos if you want to see the controls and both fans running: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx3yF4u3D-gwww.youtube.com/watch?v=RV6aTknrsEwS3 still needs a new capacitor so it will be a while before I make a new video of S3.

Obi-Wan Canopy I found out exactly why one wasn't spinning. The trim pot on that control was having some problem, that even if it was adjusted to right setting, it would sometimes speed up and slow down. Here's a video of it with the new trim pot, works perfectly now:
