Hey all!
Did a few new videos today of one newbie to the collection and two ones I've been meaning to do videos for for a while now so...
Lets start with the newest addition to the collection,
The 1985 polished brass Banvil Chateau that was recently on Kijiji. I had to give the guy some time to get around to packing it up, but when he did, the timing lined up perfectly because he was actually supposed to end up coming to Toronto on business so he actually lugged the thing on the plane with him and brought it to my house! I was shocked! lol
I think the fan is one of the odder looking ones in my collection without having the lower canopy, but still a good piece to have.
The blades are 52" but the motor model is a "448" which was for the 48" fans, which leads me to believe that the blades are not original to the fan. Also, if you recall the beveled glass light kit in the pic that was on it, I think that was also a frankenfixture as it had Banvil fixture parts but no pull chain and was hardwired into the electrical in the switch housing.
Next is one of the three matching 4 Seasons Venair spinners I got a while back that I've been meaning to put up and do a test run a video shoot of... couldn't show off all the speeds because one of the blades was pretty badly warped and gave the fan major wobble issues.
And lastly... the AB Envirofan Chateau that I got a couple summers ago. This is another one that I couldn't give a full demonstration of because it's capacitor is currently being used in another fan. I do mean to get around to getting a new capacitor for it eventually, but just wanted to do a quick vid of it for the sake of having one.
And yes I know... let me be the first to say that my camera is CRAAAAAAP! lol
