They had their own "brand" what said Builder's Square on the box. I believe it was a black and purple box. Anyone know who made them?

I don't know about builder's square, but I do know who makes hampton bay fans, minka-aire makes the fans for hampton bay and I think SMC had (or has) something to do with those fans aswell.

Actually, that's only partially true. The same Asian company (I forget the name) that mades *some* of Minka Aire fans also makes *some* Hampton Bay fans. SMC used to make some Hampton Bay fans, I dont remember if they still do. But the question was about builders square, and that was because our own Industrial Andrew (the other Andrew) is seeking a fan that I believe to have been made for Builders Square in the 80s. Trying to help him find/research it.

...SMC used to make some Hampton Bay fans, I dont remember if they still do. Two weeks ago, I installed, for a friend, a "Landmark Plus" (the 42", 5-blade, version of the new Landmark). It has the SMC blade tips, and the enclosed flyer telling you how to dispoe of the styrofoam packaging, said "SMC" and had their logo on it. Case closed . ...our own Industrial Andrew (the other Andrew) is seeking a fan that I believe to have been made for Builders Square in the 80s. Trying to help him find/research it. Describe the fan, I'll search through my channels.

The cheapo models were made by JP inc. The nicer ones (Bay Breezes) were made by AirCool.

it's a white hugger fan like a Hampton Bay Littleton. The motor housing is angular and not rounded. I has the same style blade brackets as the square fan in the unknown gallery

The two Andrew's are the same person. I'm just on a different computer and I forgot the password.
