Yes! Got another Homestead at Habitat, the third one so far which is good considering the lack of cool fans lately. This time it's a beautiful PB Wind II in great condition, complete with everything but a mounting bracket. Sorry, forgot to snap a pic with four blades, if you really wanna see it that way it'll be in the video. From April 1993. Best part was this one was not touched by the $35 Phantom. Clay would know what I'm talking about by that considering the rant I had with him, but let's just say a lot of stuff around there (not just fans, but mostly so) has $35 marked on it, and somehow this fan evaded it.

NICE find! The three blade configuration looks kinda cool actually.

Thanks, Rick. I like them with three blades, but they'd ideally need a wider blade then or they're just too skinny.

The '87 Homestead catalog shows one Wind with four blades, but says no more about it. It's the only fan in the catalog that doesn't have six. Were the Wind fans - or at least the Wind IIs - able to hold four as well as six?

I'd love to see scans of that catalog, Jonas.

Were the Wind fans - or at least the Wind IIs - able to hold four as well as six? Pretty much all six blade Homesteads accomodated four blades: The Universal, Santa Cruz, Vogue Fan, and WIND II are all fans that I have, and all accept the basic 4 or 6 blades. It's all in the spacing of the motor holes. Each hole in the motor is the same distance away as the next one over in either direction, so in essence, for 4 blades, you skip a hole between each blade. I would have shown 4 with this WIND, but I forgot to snap a pic. The video depicting all configurations is available here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmnbUIoxJXw
