Thanks Rick.. Someone came across the site and offered the fan for free, they said just to give them a little for the shipping costs.. For a free fan, they did a great job packing.. It's surprising that kind people still actually exist..
I'm still trying to figure out the factory, made in Taiwan and it being very light weight, I'm leaning more towards Aircool..

Actually the light kit is very unique, and it's pretty heavy for a light kit.. Also whats interesting is the pull chain comes through the bottom..

Actually the light kit is very unique, and it's pretty heavy for a light kit.. Also whats interesting is the pull chain comes through the bottom.. i agree.. the globes is thick glass is what makes it heavy, mom and dad has one in their ge vent fan in their kitchen and grandma has hers at her old house on her toastmaster ge vent fan as well.. mom and dad bought theirs at payless cashways back in late 1989/or 1990 era it seems vintage since it was 1989/1990 not like 2000 or later but there are the best for 90s/todays builder junk(better than todays junky light kits.. the one i got came off of my craftmade detective(builder fan with (delta II type non double bar standered blade arms).. those light kits are only 2 finishes antique brass and polish brass, grandma and my parents both are antique brass, mine is polish brass(i like to get more of those lights is why i still ask for them as for the chain pull>>i agree with you on that it makes it easier to turn it off/on
