I got this from my aunt who we visited just last weekend. This fan was installed in the dining room for as long I can remember. About 2 months ago, one of my uncles replaced most of the fans with Hunters and she gor rid of 2 of the replaced fans, a Walmart hugger and a 6 blade JcPenney/Tatung fan. This was put away in her storage shed until I came and got it. This is a very sentimental childhood fan for me.
Here it is just after I got it home.
Here it is being cleaned and what fun that was.
After cleaning. I added a 5th light as the pull switch in the light kit was a 3 way.
My aunt misplaced the mounting bracket, screws to hold the arms to the motor, and the pun that secures the downrod.
Luckly, I have extra parts so I am able to hang the fan. IDK Why but the upper lights wont work. I checked the connections, bulbs, pull switch, and I even bent one of the contactor tabs on the sockets with no luck. I hope the sockets or not bad. I will have to check that out soon.
