They're very popular (especially in Matte Black) in my area, can't get pix or video because they're not really interesting fans.

My church has one in the youth room (1st gen) with a 3L turtle fitter. I got it NIB for $15 in 2005 from Busy Beaver, but it was labeled 'Litex'
There is a house adjacent to my church which was donated to it circa 2003 and it was converted to a coffee house/gathering spot for young adults summer 2004. They added 2 HB Builder's Bests in brushed steel with 4L spotlight kits. They later added an AB Builder's Best with a 3L turtle fitter in the upstairs since ladies would hold a bible study in that room. Anyway, said building was voted to be demolished since it's rather old and in shambles. I ran it by the pastor the possibility of moving 2 identical BB's into the church's kitchen to replace 2 white/PB 52" 5B Air Cool GE-Vent fans with ornate canopies from the late 1980s, I believe.

I have a Harbor Breeze Builders Best(Classic)NIB from Lowes. The only reason I got it was because I really wanted it. This might soon go in the office to replace the Cameron II. It's just quieter than the cameron. The 42" Coastal Breezes will both be going in the kitchen. Soon I'm getting an AB Lady Delta which will replace my cameron. There are videos of them all on yt(the lady delta is in the one of my dad's friends HB Calera 42".)

I don't pay attention to these.. As soon as I see something like this, my eyes look elsewhere instantly and my attention is focused on to what ever I'm doing at the time, and the fan is loooong forgotten, not that this would be brought to my attention.. Which means I can't tell anyone where I've seen these.. Cheap flimsy particle board - tuna can metal...

I just put one up to replace an AB 42" 4B CEC GE-Vent fan in a friend's house.
The AB versions of the Builder's Best are becoming rare.
To be quite honest, I don't care for either fan.

It's not that I hate them.. You guys are welcomed to talk about these newer fans on here.. They are just way beyond my era of collecting fans.. All ceiling fan talk is welcomed here... I thought I would just share my opinion.. I see we've entered a new era of ceiling fan collectors since we opened this site way back when.. Hell, we are almost approaching 10 years..
I figured today's technology things are made to be tossed out once quit working, and since the recycle age came along in the late 1980s, pretty much the new is being replaced without any signs of existing, this is why things are becoming rare so quickly.. Nothing much is solidly built unless you are planning to pay a pretty penny, or something top of the line, like a Hunter Original or a Casablanca.. We can ad a newer ceiling fan section "90s-today" if it's in much of a high demand for ceiling fan talk..

Well put Clay. I'd kinda prefer to keep the Ceiling Fan section all together...a bunch of extra sub-forums just makes it harder to navigate...

Well put Clay. I'd kinda prefer to keep the Ceiling Fan section all together...a bunch of extra sub-forums just makes it harder to navigate... VERY well put, Clay. Fortunately I've had the pleasures of being exposed to mostly older fans since the beginning so they continue to be my childhood fans (Evergo, Nutone, SMC all very popular around here), but there are newer ones that make an impression on me as well, and we are moving into the new era of collectors who are going to appreciate the newer stuff more. I can go either way on another section, but I'm going to go with Rick in that I think it's easier to navigate one section. There's valuable input on any thread whether it be new or old fans, and I feel separate sections might add confusion and bring about irrelevant posts. On this site we naturally derail a bit from the original topic to branch off new conversations, which is good because they typically remain relevant. That being said, I don't know if that can happen efficiently in separate sections, because if a new fan leads back to and old fan or vice-versa, it becomes irrelevant to the section and again leads back to the confusion factor, and how to keep each section on the correct topics.
