It's kinda cute. These fans have about the most Four Seasons Venair I've seen on a fan sold in America yet, everything except the vents and kinda the switch housing is like a lot of Four Seasons stuff...

That's because from the looks of it Synlix was one of 4 Seasons importers, looks like Tat was also...

That's because from the looks of it Synlix was one of 4 Seasons importers, looks like Tat was also... Oh, I am quite certain of that. Most Four Seasons fans look like modified Synlix/Commander models to me, apparently made to suit Four Seasons. There are the select ones that do not appear Synlix though, TAT would seem to fit the bill on some of that stuff.

Switch housings, blades, blade badges, holders, motors, canopies and nuts are mixed matched parts from various manufacturers on 4 Season fans... Which makes them unique.. They were only in Canada I believe..

Yeah, Canada only I think unless the odd one or two made it down across the border. What with the consistent reverse pullchains on most models they must have been made for the Canada market.

Looks to be that way.. 4 Seasons looks to have bought the parts from the Asian factories and customized there fans...

Looks to be that way.. 4 Seasons looks to have bought the parts from the Asian factories and customized there fans... That is pretty much the most appopriate conclusion I've read here for 4 Seasons parts. I know their fans were distributed by Venair INC. TAT had nothing to do with 4 Seasons though. All their fans were made in Taiwan. Nothing made in Hong Kong. I don't see what TAT has to do with 4 Seasons.

That model you got could look similar to a 1982 Galaxy 42'' except for the vents, black thing in the canopy, the shape of the switch housing and reverse switch.

The motors are the same, Synlix made those type of motors with and without the vents.. The motor of the Galaxy is definitely Synlix manufactured of Taiwan.. I also have some fans in the galleries with that same motor, without the vents..

Some of those 4 seasons have that motor that looks very close to those "UFO" TAT type motors...
Thanks Jeremy..
