For years I had this Thomas Fasco: In my parents kitchen. It was perfect. White, cool, and the right size. Unfortunately flywheel broke, and I have yet to locate a replacement. Temporarily I installed this Sonnet Air: Which would have been perfect, if not that it is brown, which doesnt go with anything else in the room. I'd love to have a white Sonnet Air, but I havent found one. I'd really really like THIS fan: i74.photobucket.com/albums/i272/goldrushcavi/JWs_fans/Irving-spinner.jpgBut I've never seen one outside of this picture. In my quest to find a white spinner with a lower canopy, I found this: I havent decided if I like it or not. First of all, even though it's 42", it looks a little small. I'm not a fan of small fans with huge light fixtures. Secondly, I kept the same light fixture which is AB, and has PB accents. I could switch to a PB light but I'm not sure which looked better overall. What do you guys think? Of the fan/room combo? Of the fan/light combo? My next option to try, if this doesnt grow on me, is one of these:

I like the looks of the last option. That white 42" spinner would look okay without the light kit on it. The chunkier motor housing on the last fan would make the light kit not look as oversized.

You could probably take the Thomas blades and put it on the Emerson if you found one.

I have one of the 40"? Emersons. Putting the Thomas blades on it is a cool idea. Only problem is, the Thomas blades are whiter than the Emerson. Not sure how it would look.

It's growing on me. I may keep it. So, assuming I do:
1. Light that's on it 2. Light that's on it, but in PB 3. Different light in AB (same shades) 4. Different light in PB (same shades)
Opinions?

Well, the accents on the fan are PB, so I would put a different PB light on it, maybe one a little smaller if you can find it.
How does the fan work in that space? Does it move a good amount of air?

I'd go with the same light kit that's on it, but in PB.

IMO the fan does not move enough air for the space. But it is not my house. The previous fan(s) they usually used on medium or low, so this may be enough for them.
Keep the opinions coming on the light.

I'd say a PB light to match the accents. On the closeup pics, the current light doesn't actually look too large since the globes aren't enormous, but the one in context with the room does make it look pretty big. I think it'll be okay though, so I'm for the same light, but in PB.

OK I need to change this fan. I still hate the small spinner.
Here are my options:
1. W/B Island Fans 2. W/B Moss WB series (Cane blades) 3. W/B Lasko from MDoss if I win it (I have a set of cane blades for it as well)
Thoughts?

I'd say go with the Lasko that I'm going to send you, it's a beautiful fan and would look even better with a light kit. I'd love to see it running again!

I cant say I've ever seen a Japanese Lasko with a 4 or 5 light kit on them. I cant easily picture it.
The AB would go better with the existing light kit.

If you do not want the emerson designer, I will take it.
