My local habitat also charges +/-$10 for most fans, which is how it should be everywhere.
Also.. a direct link to the specific gallery in these threads would not be a bad idea.
...And a note in regards to the fan itself... these "UFO" TATs are queer as hell. I was not aware that this motor type was used for residential fans.

NICE Tat! It looks to be in pretty decent condition. The shape of the motor (as Andrew said) is quite neat...very unique. ;D My local habitat also charges +/-$10 for most fans, which is how it should be everywhere. Agreed; the Habitat where I got my CEC spinner had fans for about $12 a piece.

I was not aware that this motor type was used for residential fans. I agree. I went to Habitat today and they've got a 42" white Coastal Breeze labeled at $35! I was like "WTF, that's toooo expensive for a cheapo little Hunter." And yeah, I had no idea they applied this to the residential fans. The UFO motors really are weird, I've always tried to decide if I actually like them...

Cool I like it! Of course they made wood blade fans with this motor! C'mon we seen this before on a Texan CL and AU EBay. I think it's called the ''Whisper Fan'' motor. This model is very common in Australia. It's usually polished brass with cane blades. Often white too. It looks weird mostley because it's missing the nut. Also I don't think I ever saw a brown one with plain blades.

This model is very common in Australia. It's usually polished brass with cane blades. Often white too. It looks weird mostley because it's missing the nut. Also I don't think I ever saw a brown one with plain blades. I thought I've seen another like this pictured.. I think it was a Australian version i saw, and had the nut and nut plate as the Windwards do. As far as the nut, It may not have come with a nut, some fans did and some didn't, but also depends on the person who bought the fan new, if they read the instructions and screwed the nut on.. The one in Broward varies, most fans are priced and some are not, and most are very expensive, Priced at $35 and up. This one was not priced. Depending on the day I go, management, person I ask about the price is how much the fan is. I just happened to be there at the right time, and asked the right person. On others, I tell them they are crazy, and I could buy a fan at Home Depot new cheaper than your pricey used ones, than I mention, "Look at the dates on your pricey fans" they've been sitting there for quite a while. Don't you think you should sell them at reasonable prices so you would have room for a constant flow coming and going? They don't want to hear that, and usually try to make you look like the idiot, than mention, well that's our policies, I've gotta comeback for that one too, well some of your polices really don't make any sense. I make sure I'm around a bunch of customers and loud and clear, but still makes no difference.. I've always referred them as a UFO motor, and is pretty odd to see a version that is non industrial. Would even be more odd to see a switch housing on one of these. Thanks for all the compliments...
