got 3 xpelair fans from the same building that had 2 crompton parkinsons, they were dated 1975.. 2 of them had their solenoids failed and the third one is working fine.. all of them have slightly bad bearings which causes the motor to create some ticking sounds upon operation the one with brighter and messed up blades was in the bathroom the other 2 were in the kitchen.. there was some filter that protected the outer vent and the blades from "decaying" one of the cases (belonging to the one with the operating solenoid) has the spring holder broken here are some pictures notice how the shades open since the spring holder is open (not placed on the one with solenoid working) back side each fan with it's case placed above it the tag.. i am quite surprised that there were no pictures of certificates or other companies involved unlike my 1972 xpelair that had 3 a video (of all the xpelairs without their covers).. the 3 1975 xpelairs are in the second line i don't know what's the difference between GX6 and GX6W
