My sanyo fan has had a broken blade for five years since i dropped it . I tried glewing it, but it flew off while it was running. Please help. I hate to see such a good fan go to waste because of a broken blade. (it is the first one) www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hoWIvUSN7U

Unfortunately you'll need to find a new blade. Unless you glue it with JB weld Plastic glue, that may withstand the rotation of the blade and wont send the broken piece flying off.

You can use this stuff called IPS Weld-On 4. I used it on a broken blade, although the seam is still visible, the blade is solid as a rock. I ran the fan for a long time on high speed after letting the blade dry for 24 hours and it is still steady. Make sure you use this stuff in a well ventilated area!!! Outside on a nice day would be best. The blade will still have that crack but it will at least be functional.
