There are a few other fans I'm on slightly less obsessive quests for. The first Nutone Veranda The Fasco World's Fair Fan The Hunter Comfort Breeze And some others I cant think of at the moment . . . I love many fans. But, yes, I plan to buy every single Tara fan in existance. If I can find enough I might even give some to other collectors. But I need MINES first

Matthew, since you sold all your fans and gave up fan collecting and are now going to commit fanslaughter by throwing your BB in a dumpster...I have NO sympathy for you.

Matthew, I have an idea. Why don't you give your dead Bay Breeze to me. I could possibly fix it or if the windings are fried, I can put the parts to good use. But whatever you do, don't commit fanslaughter. I like that fan

Didn't you say you were going to destroy that Panasonic you have a few threads ago? Oh wait....

What I said was "I have no sympathy for you", not "I would never do that".
Try learning how to read, Matthew. It's a simple skill.

The Hampton Bay Glacier fan is also one of my favorite fans. Fans I am looking for: -Hunter comfort breeze -Nutone verandah -Emerson 1895 series Any of the Fasco fans (charleston, world's fair, the fan that looks like a charleston but with five blades) Any Homestead fan SMC Laguna 52'' variable speed Hunter Original 36'' or 42'' That's it for now

Andrew: I have a mint-condition white 36" Hunter Original with ReversAire. 2-speed. Missing canopy. Paint nearly perfect. Good bearings. Runs well.
I also have 2 of the 36" white Emerson 1895 series--3-speed, later canopy..
Any interest in either? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, let me add four more fans to my search, albeit far less obsessive than the first two:
- 52" antique brass or bright brass Emerson 1895-series. The 4-speed model with the old canopy and the DARK walnut blades.
- 52" white Hunter Original with Adaptaire.
- 52" FASCO Charleston in bright brass, antique brass, or white/brass. The model with the older canopy, j-hook counting system, blades that slant upwards, and motor housing bottom plate that slopes upwards
- 4-blade white Emerson Casablanca series (the "Blender fan"). 2-speeds, all white, with switch housing, smaller motor, ORIGINAL paint, any size in the 40's
Those fans, though, I just really want. The first two, I would literally sell my soul for.

Hey Perrey, I have a lead on some Sierras, remember? Plus I know the guy that founded Sierra, I'm waiting for him to call me back. I saw some of those glass Hampton Bay Fans, I know a church down in Georgia that has three of them.

I have an Emerson 1895 series, 42" AB, if Matthew doesnt want it. And the 6 blade Fasco, which I also want, is called the World's Fair. The State Fair and the Vanity Fair were the five blade ones. BTW Pierce's Panasonic, the really odd one that he would sell his soul for, I'd also like to find one of those.

Well, from the looks of your signature, you still have a couple . . . but when you come visit, we'll get you something decent. Maybe I'll have 500 Taras by then and can afford to give you one

- 52" FASCO Charleston in bright brass, antique brass, or white/brass. The model with the older canopy, j-hook counting system, blades that slant upwards, and motor housing bottom plate that slopes upwards To my knowledge, all of the Charlestons with the bell canopy have the motor that doesnt slant. You'd probably need to take the canopy off an older fan and put it on a newer Charleston. But I could be wrong. Ryan Sipka would know. And Brian Hicks has a ton of Charlestons, he'd probably sell ya one cheap. Those fans, though, I just really want. The first two, I would literally sell my soul for. You have a soul? What I said was "I have no sympathy for you", not "I would never do that". Try learning how to read, Matthew. It's a simple skill. I wont even touch this. I want to, but I must resist . . . Pierce, you know you're asking for it, right?
