I have a Victorian version (early 80s) of the Slumber Electronics (variable speed) fan which I have many of the replacement parts, but I cannot find a cross reference for the power transistor. If anyone knows of a replacement part or a place to get the specific one, please advise.
Original version: RCA 1933070 C 8041
One I saw on an e-Bay picture Motorola 1054170
I have purchased the 3 speed kit, but the circuit board does not fit correctly in the housing. The part the Technician gave me is not the same as the one listed on the Casablanca site, so I am not completely sure it is the right replacement. Casablanca has not responded to an e-mail question.
Thanks.

Any way you can post a picture of the 3-speed board? There were several different variations available but they all should work in a Victorian.
Slumber parts are no longer available from Casablanca, there is the most recent upgrade kit on ebay right now, that may be your best shot.

Thanks for the response. I checked a site that showed a picture of the board and it is the same as the one I have. Don't know why part numbers are different unless there is some part included in one but not the other.
I finally got the board installed after sleeping on it..and the fan is running again. I will have to give it some time to see if I can accept what are now my limited fan speed options, which is why I would still like to have a transistor to replace the current one.
I have all the parts for the replacement except the transistor. Actually I have two heat sinks and two boards, so I do not need those, but I need a new transistor. It would seem if Casablanca is no longer supporting the Slumber electronics that they would be willing to release the specs or at least provide a substitute device. I will keep trying to find the info.
Thanks Again
