Here's a picture from back when the weather is nice around here...The coloring in the picture isn't very good, its supposed to be red, not orange.

These things aren't built for speed by any means, but say you leave it in 4 going on the freeway once you pass ~2,500 revs it feels like its got turbo kicking in lol

My Lincoln used to fall on its face after 3000rpm. it shifted at 4000rpm too. 99% of the time when driving you barely cracked 2000rpm. lol

I usually shift around 1,500 for efficiency purposes. If I remember correctly its got 285 HP to it, so its got a fair bit of power even at lower speeds.

I'm intrigued to see how the Pentastars quality is overtime, I've heard very good things about these engines.

I also have heard great things about this engine. Its a much better version than the previous engines used in these vehicles. The fuel efficiency is much better too. Muricaaaaaaaaa, just beating on my ol' pushrod V8 Sounds nice!!!

Few goodies for my babe this past 2 weeks... First, a set of rare 16" HPP package Crown Vic rims. These were available on the 1993-2002 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis if ordered with the HPP(High Performance Package) which included a 3.27 rear end, dual exhaust, rear air ride suspension, automatic climate control, digital dash and these alloys. I also got tint done, 15% on the front doors and 5% limo tint on the rear doors, rear window and windsheild brow..looks sexy. I also put in my purple LED interior lights in place of the red ones I had. It looks awesome. I also got orangey-red LED turn signal bulbs too which look great with the HIDs

Some may know, Im a HUGE train fanatic. So after work this morning I saw a freight train waiting at the local yard, and about 3 miles down the track is a crossover(double track mainline) so obviously it was waiting for a train to pass so it could cross over to the other track..so I waited at the station...Hoping it was another freight train, it was just a Via train..still made a cool pic though.
