I find it to be a very smooth ride! That's unsurprising...Chevy Impalas of the same generation also ride smooth

When it comes to luxury cars, I have a soft spot for the Lincoln Town Car. My grandparents have owned them for as long as I can remember, and my grandfather swears by them.

Pretty cool car. I very rarely saw the 90s Tercels here and most if not all were 2 door. It sure looks clean, and 99 had to have been about the last year they were offered.

Not bad and super cute... super clean, too... I once saw a mint green one... a coupe... basic without hubcaps and vinyl seats, and I don't think A/C either... they're kinda cute.

Tercel is baller asf, averaging 33mpg so far. Rear struts need replacing and the shift linkages are non-existent, but for a $400 car I don't care.

My aunt just traded in that Volvo V50, because it was starting to have mechanical issues, plus the clear coat had gone bad from the sun. She got a new Subaru wagon of some kind, but I don't know the model. She was going to get another Volvo, but a new Subaru was cheaper than a used Volvo...

Well, guys, it's looking like if I can't get my car fixed, I might be having to get a new one sooner than later. My check engine light was on so we checked the codes and replaced the parts, but it still isn't shifting smoothly, whenever I take off. Plus today I started it up and it revved way up to 2000 RPM as soon as I started, so I shut it off and restarted it and it was ok. It actually revved up the other day while I was driving, which was scary. I ended up driving on a back road and shutting the motor off so I could coast to a stop sign where there was no traffic, and restart it.
There are no more codes so we can't figure out what the issues are. It's going to need new tires soon, and I hate to part ways with my old friend, but it's a 2001 so not really worth putting too much into at this point, I don't think.
Not sure what i want to get though. I'm really liking maybe a used Taurus Limited. I'd love a truck but I really only like the previous gen Silverado LTZ and Sierra SLT and they're hard to find, none for sale around close. Plus they'd be over $20k if I could find one with low mileage. ??

A little update here... I'm selling all of my vehicles to get one newer vehicle... I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ with the 4.0L I6, a 1997 Chevy K1500 Silverado with the 5.7L V8, and a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ with the 5.2L V8. I've also recently purchased a 1991 Saab 900S Nonturbo Convertible for only $50 that I still have to get running, and will sell with the others. My next car is going to be a 2011-12 Jeep Liberty KK Limited Edition with the 3.7L V6... I can get one for under $10,000 and am now working for a Jeep dealership where I'm able to get an employee discount on a vehicle, so I will have my boss (the owner of the dealership) find one for me once I sell all of my vehicles.
