I finally got around to tending to some locked up fans tonight. Thought I'd have to take the whole motor apart on both my 12" (I think) blue Nobility and the 16" Crosley (Galaxy), but I tried a few drops of Zoom Spout Oiler in each on the front bearing for starters, and a few minutes later, they're free! Oiled the back a bit as well and good as new. No pics really, just thought I'd share. Besides, the Crosley isn't much right now because the grilles are really bent out of shape from it being tossed in the trash.

Thats good that they freed up. I had to unlock some motors myself but I used WD-40 or the red 3-in-1. You need something a little stronger when the motors are rusted stuck.
