in this thread i will present you some canadian ceiling fans, that i received at my local thrift store, and im volounteer to test them. ive wait about 6months to have this rack, to test the ceiling fans i can easily test a ceiling fan, because i have a remote control and a remote control receipter... so im sitting in my chair, testing the fan... lol enjoy the pictures first, that is an old smc. 3speeds forward/reverse with the reverse pullchain the light pullchain has popped out and their is an uplight. That ceiling fan was in my former Canadian Tire catalog and it was brand new at it's year!!! I've also seen this ceiling fan in person on display at a former Canadian Tire store when I was really young.

I know, you tested a lot of awesome ceiling fans!! And I liked that Nadair catalog when it was still on thread. Too bad the pictures of that catalog are gone now.

I'm only interested in the housing, switch housing/cap and mounting bracket for a project. If you have one with the traffic light LEDs, I'm interested. I wish I'd known, I sold a TON of housings for scrap. Right now I only have complete fans. Either way if you happen to have at least one complete, motor assembly, I'll just use the parts that I need and upgrade it with a more powerful motor that will be able to handle 6-blades. I have an King Of Fans BUILDER with a filigree center band... named "Ultratech" that also has those traffic LEDs. They make the fan look sophisticated even if is just a simple indicator for the control unit.

How tall is that ceiling?
Perrey, take a look at the pictures in my Hugger, Cast Iron Spinner, and Everything Else for sale threads, and tell me which one you think would work best!

Wow it actually look nice. The switch caps looks okay. Who you belive that they are from 2011-2012! They look late 1980s.
But really they should not have flushmounted them. The ceiling is plenty tall enough to had them on downrods even if your moving things around.
Everything looks cleaner. Were the walls repainted too? I know you told me the floor was repainted.

If your asking for the ceiling where the new Canarms are installed, I would say nearly 3 meters tall. They really should have mounted them on downrods.

the ceiling is 9feets. and yes they should have install them with downrods.
They are from 2009, i checked when they were in their box. Floor was repainted, and the wall with the clocks, and the walls with appliances

They should have just left that chunky hugger installed, haha. ;D
At least the new GE-vent fans look cool. Run them on medium or high, and the air movement would probably be sufficient...

My 42'' beacon hill moves more air on medium, than this 52'' Fan on high..
They are always on high, looks more like a fast medium

I don't call a fan ''Builder'' or any of theses other names unless it's officially called like this. When it does not have a name like this Canarm I simply refer to this fan by it's brand and not really by the type of fan.
For me a builder fan is a very basic fan that come in multiples finishes, have generic plain blades and does not include a light kit with it.

So Jean if i'm going with what you said, we installed builder fan, basic fan, that come in white, ORB, and brushed nickel. plain blades white/bleached oak and does not include a light kit originally had one, but still looks like a builder fan
